The are many items that are not required but are suggested for optimal use of your cannon. There are many brands and types of black powder and fuses to choose from but the items we have listed have been tested with your American Cannon and work best for your equipment. The competition stand is not required, but it too has been specifically designed for use with our cannons and would be an important addition to your purchase.

What is the Fireworks Mortar Barrel?
Simply put, it is the safest way to set off fireworks ever designed. The length is specifically designed for fireworks rockets, missiles, roman candles, etc. It won’t knock over. It will direct your fireworks up towards the sky instead of towards the garage or the car, and it will do it all in style!

AMERICAN CANNONS produces as well as markets black powder cannons to be used primarily for display & salute firing purposes. Our newest line of cannons is designed and built to be used in competition shooting, or on ranges involved in the Upcoming Sport of Golf Ball Launching. Additionally, these cannons feature stainless steel removable screw-in barrels in 12″, 15″, or 18″ barrel lengths that are designed to fit into one receiver.
This allows for different shots at different distances without having to purchase another complete cannon. Simply unscrew the barrel and choose your desired size. Our cannons are CNC machined from 4″ diameter solid T1080 High Carbon Steel. That being said, they require little maintenance other than normal cleaning after using and keeping a high quality oil film coating on the metal. You’ll love this cannon!
